And with a vengeance. Hahaha. just kidding. But seriously. IT IS BACK. Now known as Flysis, SCO has been reborn in an exact replica of its former self. With a few tweaks here and there, Flysis has come to be one of the most addicting games I have ever played. AND IT IS TOTALLY AWESOME TOO! Check it out with this link. You WONT be disappointed.

Here’s the letter from the General Manager of Gala-Net:

Dear SCO Community,

For some time now, a large majority of you have been crying out for answers. The lack of content updates, the continual updates made to Ace Online overseas, and my diminished presence in the SCO community. I am writing this letter to give you all the answers you seek and deserve, however these may not be the answers you wanted to hear.

As some of you may know, Ace Online is now owned by another publisher. Gala-Net was given a cease and desist letter from this publisher, requesting that we shut down Space Cowboy as they now possess the rights to the game within the US region. We here at Gala-Net immediately resisted this claim and began to take action. Several plans and proposals were formed by us here at Gala-Net, and I was sent to Korea in an attempt to negotiate some sort of compromise.

Gala-Net has fought for one of two goals. Either the continuation of our service in the US complete with updates, or the voluntary transfer of your characters to a new publisher.s service. We recognize that many of you have spent a significant amount of your time in our game worlds. It is this very reason for which we fought with great resolve. Unfortunately no compromise was able to be reached, and no transfer could be agreed upon.

For the past few months the SCO forums have been filled with complaints and angry posts regarding the status of the game. These posts are written by players of every gear, every faction, and every country of the real world. Many of you have taken note of my patience during this era of flaming and hatred.

I have patience with the anger of this community because I share that anger with you. Space Cowboy is a game of great potential. It has been a game of recreation, a game of solitude, a game of friends and comrades, a game of conflict and competition. In my time here working on SCO, I have seen leaders succeed and fail, I have seen heroes rise and fall, and I have seen brigades form and dissolve.

I have done everything within my power to fight for Space Cowboy, and I do not possess a single regret regarding my work here. Gala-Net has been incredibly supportive in my fight for SCO, however unfortunately, sometimes passion and hard work just isn’t enough.

Space Cowboy servers will be shutting down on 12/26/2007. Gala-Net cares deeply for our users, and we wish to provide those who have supported us with various forms of reimbursement. You can see whether or not your account is eligible by clicking here.

Well, thats a bunch of bull. But, what can we do? We’re only the thousands of people that played the game almost everyday of our lives. What do we matter? Money, money, money. That’s all that matters to them. And why would you sell one of the most played online games in the world to another publisher, OVERSEAS? Stupid decision on their part. Oh well, time to go find another MMORPG. Lots out there anyway.

PS3 v.s. XBOX 360

The mother load of all epic battles, the PS3 v.s. the Xbox 360. A lot of hype about these two systems has swept the nation. But, it’s not the games, nor the features that have everybody talking. It’s WHO WILL SELL BETTER. With the release of Halo 3 on the 360, it’ll be quite difficult for Sony to bounce back. Although the Halo franchise has built up ENORMOUS sales since its debut in November of 2001, it’s still just a shooter containing all the features of those that came both before, and after it. Yes, the story line is fantastic, but can it hold the 360 up on its shoulders alone, against the onslaught of the new games PS3 will soon to be releasing? In features alone, the PS3 BLOWS the 360 away. With its sleek design, Blu-ray compatibility, and FREE online multi-player gaming, Xbox just doesn’t stand a chance. Yes, the 360 has made more sales so far, but the real question is, how long can they keep it up? The only reason why more people have been buying the 360, rather then the PS3, is because of the price difference, and the game selection. One thing that PS3 haters don’t realize, is the fact that Sony has always been on top. They have better game licenses, and have MANY more, extremely successful gaming franchises than Microsoft. What does Microsoft have? Halo 3. And that’s about it. Let’s count all the successful franchises Sony has:

Ratchet and Clank
Grand Theft Auto
Final Fantasy (HUGE!)
Jak and Daxter
God of War
Metal Gear Solid
Twisted Metal
Syphon Filter
Gran Turismo
Genji
Killzone
Motorstorm
Resistance
Sly Cooper

Uncharted

Look at all those! Now granted, some of these have appeared on other platforms, mostly Nintendo, and not all these are series, yet (Hint, Hint), but they are mostly exclusive to Sony only.

Now to the features. Let’s see here, where to start… Let’s go with internal stuff first. Here are some of the specs compared between the two:

Both are Hi-Def, but the PS3 also has the ability to play Blu-ray’s right out of the package. Score one for the PS3.
Both use Massive hard drives to store music, videos, and downloaded content. And of course game saves.
Both have compatibility with another device from their companies. Sony’s PSP for the PS3, and Microsoft’s Zune for the 360.
PS3 is backwards compatible right out of the box, while an extra hard drive, if Core edition is bought, is needed if you want to play original Xbox games. 2-0 in favor of the PS3.
Both have extremely powerful processors, for being video game systems.
The PS3 has four USB ports, while the 360 has three. 3-0
Sony has finally surpassed Microsoft in the number of people in multi-player! On one console alone, the PS3 supports up to seven wireless Bluetooth controllers, while the 360 only supports 4! 4-0
They are both Wi-Fi ready right out of the box.
One thing that I am very disappointed in Microsoft is the fact that Sony has incorporated a highly sophisticated computer-like interface into the PS3, and nothing has been done with the 360! And, Microsoft is a computer programming company! Yes, you can customize the “skin” of the Xbox Gamer Guide, but you can change the WHOLE interface of the PS3! Ubuntu Linux is now an available option for the PS3. 5-0
Yes, Xbox does have a semi-more interactive multi-player gaming experience than the PS3, but the PS3′s if FREE. What a wonderful word. FREE. So I’ll give a point to the 360 too. 6-1

Xbox 360 is a very good console, don’t get me wrong, but it just doesn’t have the PUSH to go the long distance against the new PS3 games. All in all, the PS3 is the logical choice in a head to head contest with the 360. With its powerful features and unique interfaces, the PS3 will beat the 360 by a long shot in upcoming months. The only thing really dictating this is the price difference. But, while you Xbox fans are paying $50 a year, just to play online, just remember the PS3′s is FREE. That extra hundred dollars will be payed back to you in no time PS3 buyers.

Memories

They pick us up when we’re down

They bring tears to our eyes

They remind us of all the good times we had

Hahahaha, remember when we shared those fries?

They connect our worlds when they’re apart,

And their surges of pain pulse through our minds like a beating heart.

With them we travel to the past,

And plan for the future that awaits us

They bring back times of loss, pain, hunger

But most of all, love.

With them, people may seem lost,

But they’ll always be with us

In our minds

In our hearts

They provide a sanctuary into which we may escape

Where we can leave behind all the bad in our lives

Peace, love, acceptance

After they are found,

It all washes away

The pain, the suffering

It all disappears

These memories help us along in life

They comfort us

They reassure us

They remind us of the reasons to live,

To follow our dreams,

To be all who we can be

Thus,

Limewire Facts

SUCKS!

I used to have Limewire on my computer. It was great. Unlimited access to programs, movies, and music. But, my computer ran so slow! My internet sucked, and I couldn’t play any games that demanded ram! Then it suddenly crashed on me! So, I took to one of my friend’s dad. He totally fixed it up for me. He wiped out my whole system and downloaded this awesome spyware and virus detection software. I later found out that the cause of this malfunction was Limewire. Under the Limewire HIDDEN folders, there were 12,000, 12,000! viruses that were affecting the way my PC ran! 12,000! So, in other words, find another way to download stuff, cause Limewire

SUCKS!!!

Battle Field 2

Battle Field 2 is an awesome game! Debuting on both the PS2 and the PC, it might just be one of the best shooter franchises ever! The game controls are very simple, and the different game modes are sick. Online play is a sinch, and the different classes are easy to master. I would recommend both, but I favor the PC version over the PS2 ’cause the PC has better graphics, faster game play, and of course more people! And, I think the PC version has something like 2-3 more classes than the PS2 version does…

Anyway, buy it!
